So, I'm in Journalism and I can't write my article as it's a review of the movie Enchanted and I haven't seen it yet. Hmm.
Well, I'm disappointed about Apple. It kinda sucks that he thought he liked me but doesn't anymore. I feel rejected and now I feel like every time I have something great going for me, it gets ruined. Everything good that happens to me always comes with negative side effects =/ It's emo, yes, but it's da troof.
I'm okay, though. I'm not the type of person who will dwell on it and make a huge deal and cry and blah blah blah. That's lame and annoying. But like, I'm just bummed. You know? Because I was thisclose to having my first boyfriend... and nothing. Zip. Zero. Nada.
I just really like the idea of having a boyfriend. You know, i wrote about it in Bunny (the notebook I share with Ewise/Chrissytine/Awwison/Kadybug) a few weeks ago. I thought Apple might be a good first boyfriend. I guess not! Haha. I could just make him like me again ;) I'm cool.
What really annoys me, though, is how when Elise was trying to talk to Apple and Lauren was there and she was flirting. I could tell from where I was sitting that she was flirting. And that's what really hurts. The person who's supposed to be this "good" friend of mine does something like that. Like, I don't think I ever really flat out told her "I like Apple," but I have hinted and it's pretty obvious. She's smart enough to have figured it out.
I didn't want to tell her for just that reason, too. Lesigh.
Blah, Journalism is boring when there's nothing to do. I usually just read the news or talk to Robyn/Danny and that's it. Actually, Robyn and I have crazy jam sessions to 90's music. The other day we were rockin' out to "(Man) I Feel Like A Woman." Pretty freakin awesome.
Anyways. There's like three minutes left of class.
Man, I haven't updated my LJ in a really long time. I've been extremely busy!! The show ended, and it was CRAZYCRAZYCRAZY. The musical starts soon -- we're doing Peter Pan. December is a super-busy month for me! Luckily I'm not getting my tonsils taken out again ;) I'm also the new Vice President of ITS. :] I'm really excited to be so involved. I love feeling like I'm a part of something bigger. It's a pretty fantastic feeling.
Also, lately I've realized... I have friends. True friends. I've been kind of bummed out lately but they always cheer me up, no matter what. I love my friends to bits and pieces and little itty shards of sand. They are the sprinkles on my cookie of life! It's awesome how sweet they are. Like the other day, Elise & Chris made me lunch. They're so freakin awesome!!!
Love, bri
Hey, I'm in Journalism right now. Danny told me all about how to get onto LJ without annoying the server... Because all of our cool sites are blocked - livejournal, facebook, and myspace just to name a few. Oddly enough, YOUTUBE isn't blocked. Stupid Access Blocked-ness.
So I'm the background of Danny's phone. Haha. I don't know why this isn't the same font as before... ljgate is a little strange. I <3 Danny. He's sitting right next to me, writing about how we're listening to The Beatles on my iPod. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da is on at the moment. :-) I really need to get the rest of my Beatles CDs onto my iPod, as well as Across the Universe. Especially since now we can listen to music! Ms. Aleski is DA KEWLEST. Yup.
I have a history test next period. That's incredibly lame. Especially since I'm probably going to fail. I missed a day of school last week and then I missed like 3/4 of her class the next day - so I was missing a LOT of notes. It's stupid, she says them out loud. I think she should just have them on an overhead like every other teacher. BUT, Ms. Weitz is definitely one of my favorites.
Hmm. I'm supposed to be writing TWO articles right now... but they're both interviews, so I can't really do anything yet. I want to start my article on Alyssa with a cool quote from her, but I have yet to interview her -- so that's not going to happen quite yet haha. And the article on the New Teachers I'm writing with someone else, so I'm not really sure how it's going to work. Plus, we've only interviewed one teacher out of fourteen. So, we are nowhere near as done as we're supposed to be.
Drama is awesome. Seriously, I've missed Drama and I'm so happy that I get to be there every day and still feel so involved. We've started taking notes which are pretty fun - we get to write things like "What the hell are you doing with your arm?!" or "Stop being a fustercluck!" - and then making fun of the word fustercluck beceause the 'f'a nd 'c' need to be reversed. Haha, and it's really funny to watch Jenn's reaction to people drawing crude things on her script. I love Drama.
DON'T LET ME DOOOOOOOOOOWN. Guh. I love this song.
OH!!!!!! You guys must, must, MUST go and see Across the Universe. I've seen it twice, and I want to see it another eighteen times. It's so, so amazing. I can't even describe it in words. Maybe it's because I'm such a huge Beatles fan, or maybe because I'm artsy, or because I love the era it takes place in... or maybe because Jim Sturgess is gorgeous and so is the guy who plays Max -- *and* all the girls (Evan Rachel Wood = amazing, and the girl from the Dana Fuchs band is fantastic too) are pretty hawt as well. The plotline is fantastic, and it made a lot of sense. The songs were encorperated so well! It's fantastic. Go see it. NOW! Thank yoooou.
Now The Ballad of John and Yoko is on. Haha, for some reason I really like this song. It kind of sounds like a Bob Dylan song, sort-of-kind-of-not-really-at-all. But, Christ It aint' easy! You know how hard it could be. ;)
Dan's emailing me now. I see him with my pereferral vision - I definitely spelled "perferral" wrong.
Man, I'm busy guys! But I've missed posting on LJ. I'll try to become more active. This is turning into a pretty long entry, so you should be insanely proud of me especially since I'm super busy. But I'll probably be able to post in Journalism since it takes me like, two days to write an article and it's due in late October. Doesn't mean I'll procrastinate too! (Just kidding. I probably will.)
SHOUT OUT TO MA BOY DANNNNNY.

I did not, however, expect to be stalked through my LJ. The person who happens to be reading my livejournal has known me a very long time and should really stop what she's doing. She should stop trying to break up a friendship that isn't coming to a close anytime soon. She should stop getting her family members to tell her what we're doing. And most of all, she should not be reading my LJ when I definitely DON'T want her reading it. She should realize that stalking the friends of her friends is not the way to keep those friends. kthnks.
Because of this obnoxious attempt at breaking up a solid friendship through stupid means, I'm making this LJ friends only in a week.
Good job.

Sorry, I just needed to get that out. There's this group of imbosils in my science class, and they're tap-dancing on my last nerve. I try hard in school, I honestly do. I try to be forthwright with how I feel about people and I've even tried telling them what I think. Apparently, this isn't good enough. They refuse to learn their lesson and the fact that they won't get into college is blatant. I know that's terribly mean, but I'm frustrated beyond belief. I feel like a total jerk. I'm over-stressed and that's that.
Again, I apologize sincerely for my tangent. I do that sometimes.

Homeroom - Giblin
Nothing exciting. Christine and John Boasi stole my stuff as usual. I don't know... honestly I'm getting sick of it. I just wish they'd talk to me instead of trying to take my stuff. I'm tired in the morning and I don't want to pretend I have the energy/patience for it anymore. I'm too nice to snap at them. It's John Boasi's fault that Christine's taking my stuff. I'm not mad or anything ... I'm just tired of it =\
Creative Writing - Blood
We wrote an editorial and we got into a moderately heated debate. It was on whether or not Drunk Driving Accidents in which there are casualties should be considered murder or manslaughter. I voted manslaughter because they weren't out there with the intent to kill, they just made a poor choice. I'd go more into detail but ... I won't haha.
US History I - Balsavage
Nothing exciting happened here. I took a test in which I probably failed. Surprise surprise! =P Hopefully I don't do too awful though.
Lunch
Christine made me soup for lunch, hehe. It was yummy. The idiots next to us got their table taken away for the 5th time, I believe. They need to just get suspended. This act is getting very old very fast.
Intermediate Geometry - Dierking
I didn't do the homework. Oh well, it's only one homework. Boring class. Bleh.
Earth Science - Clissold/Mansini
I am going to lose brain cells in this class. There's a group of idiots in my class who need to learn that they are not witty and shut their mouths for good. Grr. [Ha ha ... randomly this LJ entry is turning really pissy ... I don't know why. I'm really tired. Lack of sleep is no good.]
Academic English II - Lomovsky
I took a test which I think I did okay on. Hopefully.
Spanish II - Ricci
Watched a stupid video and took a quiz that I definitely failed. Yay. I'm so going to fail this class. Ew. I'm just so tired by this point that I can't focus ... at all. It doesn't help that Ricci is a whack job. I'd like to learn a little Spanish.
Phys Ed - Lynch
Nothing worth talking about.
After school, I went to Christine's and we chillaxed. I ate ice cream with a fork and then we went on the computer and recorded stuff. We're such idiots, I love it. :] Then I came home and fixed the office computer -- the mouse had been spazzing out. Now it's all good in the hood. Hopefully MY computer will be fixed by Thursday.
I have to miss Drama on Wednesday to go to the stupid Throat doctor. That's bad. I hate missing drama, especially to go to something stupid like the throat doctor. Then again ... I really need to go. I ate a cookie and now I can't even swallow water. Don't you just love how spectacular my life is? -.-'
ANY way ... sorry for that ranty entry. I didn't really mean for it to come out like that. Oh well =P

Then we slept over Christine's. We hung out in the basement and UNFORTUNATELY, Tuzzy won both HP Trivia board games. Christine and I have come to the conclusion that she TOTALLY CHEATED. Nobody beats Bri & Chris at HP Trivia. NOBODY
Anyway, then we went upstairs and watched the end of Big and then we watched Honeymoon in Vegas. Both funny movies. :] After Honeymoon in Vegas we decided to watch Phantom of the Opera. Mary and Dani went upstairs and now comes the time when I explain to you our SCARY PARANORMAL EXPERIENCE!!!
Before she went upstairs, Mary turned off the kitchen light. We were innocently watching the movie, and then suddenly the light TURNED ON. We got freaked out but we weren't really that scared. Then, all of a sudden, the lights started FLICKERING. Like, on off on off on off. We thought it was Dani, but she was sound asleep because it was like 12 PM. Nobody was downstairs except us. So we all sat really close to each other and figured maybe it was something with the circuts. But then it kept happening. So we freaked out and went upstairs to tell Mike & Mary, Christine's parents, but they DID NOT BELIEVE US!!! Not a good sign. So we went back downstairs and it continued to happen. We got so freaked out that we went back upstairs and then we kept hearing noises. Which wasn't good, I must admit. Chris had a little breakdown type thing and so we watched Murphy Brown. All in all it was a very frightening experience!!! I MET A GHOST PEOPLE. That's the only logical explanation!!
Anyway today, after Tuzzy left, CHristine and I hung out and then we put yarn in our hair and I got a mustache. Twas fun. And we played air guitar. Yeah!! :]

Since I don't really FEEL sick, my dad took me to the Turning Point for breakfast!! Gah I love their food. I got a Tropical Crunch Waffle. It's a belgian waffle covered with granola, strawberries, bananas, and little slices of mango. Yummyyummyyummy!!!
We came home and I read for a little while and finished How To Marry A Millionaire Vampire. Then I took a very long nap...it was from 11:30 AM until 2. I don't know why it was that long, I was overtired I assume. Twas very random. Then I woke up and did the homework I was supposed to do yesterday, it was pretty easy too. Then I cleaned my room. And put my name in all of my books. Then my hand got tired so I was reading for a little while. Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul II. It was uneventful. My dad tried fixing my computer and was unsuccessful. I read some more. Sweetblood. The girl telling the story is really deranged but it's an okay book I suppose. I'll just have to get into it. Haha.
Now I'm on the computer because my dad is out with my sister, and I'm still really bored. Ugh. Anyway, I do believe I'll be back in school tomorrow. Hopefully you guys didn't miss me TOO much. PS - I love my icon for this entry. Tis my favorite.

EDIT::
I decided to redo this Bway quiz thingy. :]
Name 10 of your favorite Broadway/Off-Broadway/etc shows
1. A Chorus Line
2. Spamalot
3. Footloose
4. RENT
5. Sweeney Todd
6. The Producers
7. Aida
8. Little Women
9. The Last Five Years
10. The Drowsy Chaperone
That wasn't easy.
Have you ever seen these shows live? If so, where?
Yup! I saw Spamalot (I was front row center! And I'm seeing it again next month!!), Footloose (at FTHS when they did it), RENT (On Broadway last October I believe), & Aida (at Plays in the Park)
What's your favorite song from play 2?
Umm. Oh, that's a tough one. I guess "His Name is Lancelot" or "Diva's Lament." They're both so fun! And Christine and I dance to them a lot.
Who's your favorite character from play 4?
Mark and/or Maureen!
What's your favorite scene from play 5?
Gaspeth! I cannot choooooose! I like "Kiss Me" and "Green Finch and Linnet Bird." A lot.
What's your favorite lyric from play 3?
"Almost paradise! We're knocking on heaven's door!" (I looove that song. So much.)
From play 6, which character are you most like?
Max Bialystock yo. I am so crazy. Except ... I am not a man and I would not sleep with an old lady.
Can you quote every line from play 1?
Probably
How many times have you seen play 3?
Once. And it was wonderful. Hehe ;]
If you could be anyone from play 1, who would it be? Why?
Oh jeez. Ummmmmmm. To be quite honest, I'd be anyone!! Though if I must choose, I'd be Bobby. He's just so freakin cool. He broke into people's homes just to rearrange the furniture!
What's your favorite song from play 9?
"The Next 10 Minutes" and "Shiksa Goddess" and "A Miracle Would Happen" and "Climbing Uphill"...
What's your favorite quote from play 8?
"I may be small, but I've got GIANT Plans to shine as brightly as the sun!"
Out of all these plays, which one is your absolute favorite?
Oh heavens, do you honestly think I'd be able to choose?!
Who's the favorite Broadway actor?
Norbert Leo Butz. :]
Who's the favorite Broadway actress?
Sutton Foster!
What's the best musical they turned into a movie?
Rent and The Producers. And! OMG! They are turning Sweeney Todd into a movie and Johnny Depp is starring in it and omgomgomgomgomgomgomg I am the happiest person in the world.
Is there a musical you DON'T like?
Does a revival of a show that I adore count? If so, HELL YES.
If so, which one? Why?
Um yeah. The Into the Woods Revival was nothing like the original. The ending sounded freakin evil and sad!!! NO! That is wrong! It is a HAPPY ENDING. Happy. Do you understand me!!
ALSO. I don't really like the concept of Cats. Some of the music is good but ... yeah, the concept just doesn't quite catch my interest.
Do you think the movie versions are better, or the original Broadway plays?
ORIGINALS. The movies are sometimes okay, but nothing can beat the original. The stage is just ... magical like that.
This or That:
The Producers or RENT – I refuse to choose. I REFUSE! I cannot pick.
Wicked or Chicago – I hate you. So much. I will not pick. Too hard. Just forget it.
Fiddler on the Roof or Oklahoma – Fiddler on the Roof. Oklahoma .. it's okay, but I like Fiddler way more!
Thoroughly Modern Millie or 42nd Street – Oh gosh. Both of them are so amazing! I guess Thoroughly Modern Millie because it's wonderful...

Anyway, today after drama Christine gave me a walkie talkie so we could talk on those during Lost because we're cool. But we were annoying each other and then randomly there were some kids on it calling us Sexy Mamas. We tried everything we could think of to scare us off. Christine actually talked dirty. It's all that vampire porn. Anyway, it didn't work. So we just turned the walkie talkies off. Twas sad.
I went out to dinner with my dad and we learned that I cannot swallow because my tonsils are STILL all swollen ... except worse. So my dad's keeping me home tomorrow and I have to go to the doctor. Joy of joys.
Anyway, I just figured I'd give you guys an update. Shout out to my 'homies' and such. Leave comments please!! I miss them :]
